The Clinch Stud is a threaded fastener, designed with a knurled face directly under the head. During assembly the stud is pushed into place by applying constant pressure. During this process the knurls are embedded into the sheet which then displaces the surplus material into the special annular Clinch ring, securing the fastener in position.
The Clinch Nut is of similar design to the working parts of the Stud. Designed with knurls on the underside of the nut with an annular locking ring to retain the displaced sheet material.
The Clinch Stand Off is designed as a spacer, incorporating a hexagonal head which when squeezed into the sheet material, forces the displaced portion to flow into a cut groove under the head.
